Catharine Alexander Wirth, LMSW, MA received a Masters in Social Work from Hunter College School of Social Work in New York City and a Masters in Psychology from Teachers’ College at Columbia University. Her clinical background has focused on substance abuse, anxiety and depression, and psychological issues in development. She has worked on research projects studying the genetic components of addiction and developmental issues in adolescents. She has also facilitated therapeutic and psychoeducational groups for clients with various backgrounds and needs. Catharine strives to create a comfortable and safe place for clients to explore their needs and ideas. She believes that therapy is a place to find both acceptance and growth.
