Group Counseling

Therapy Group for Men and Women

led by
Jacqueline J. Fraasa, MA, LAPC and Laura Laliberte-Bodner, MA, LAPC
Wednesdays, 4:30 – 6:00 pm

This therapy group offers an interactive experience within a safe, supportive environment for members to explore life issues at a deeper level, and heal from past and present emotional pain. The group will encourage members to develop healthy, compassionate views of themselves and others by working on issues such as:

  • Improving relationship skills
  • Developing self-awareness and self-care
  • Transforming problematic relationship patterns into healthy ones
  • Resolving life conflicts

Group Information:

Group sessions are offered on a sliding scale ranging from $20 to $50. An initial screening interview is required at a fee of $40.

Facilitators:

Jackie engages clients’ mind, body, and emotions in the growth/healing process. She has experience facilitating groups in emotion regulation skills, psycho-education, and self-care. Her clinical interests include depression, anxiety, trauma and life’s transitions.

Laura is a native Atlantan who has experience with multicultural counseling, working with trauma survivors, and psychiatric disorders. She has experience facilitating groups in addiction/recovery, family process therapy, and psycho-education. Her clinical interests include trauma, addiction, and dual diagnosis.
